Jardine Matheson offers a wide range of services and solutions in the areas of engineering, heavy equipment and mining, construction, aviation and transport services, infrastructure and logistics.

Astra supplies heavy equipment and provides aftersales services for various sectors, including mining, plantation, construction and forestry. It is the sole distributor of Komatsu, UD Trucks, SCANIA, Bomag and Tadano heavy equipment. Primarily a mining services contractor, it also owns a few thermal and metallurgical coal, gold and thermal power assets. It also participates in construction and has expanded into the renewable energy sector.

Astra develops and manages toll roads. It has a total interest in 396km of operational toll roads. This includes the Tangerang-Merak, Cikopo-Palimanan, Semarang-Solo, Jombang-Mojokerto, Surabaya-Mojokerto and Pandaan-Malang toll roads, which form the Trans Java network, enabling one to cross the island of Java from end to end, from Jakarta to Surabaya. Astra also operates the Kunciran-Serpong and Kebon Jeruk-Ulujami toll roads, which make up the Jakarta Outer Ring Road.

Gammon Construction

Gammon is an Asian-based construction services group that is jointly owned by Jardine Pacific and Balfour Beatty. Headquartered in Hong Kong for over 60 years, the group also has extensive operations in the Chinese mainland and Southeast Asia. (50%)*

Jardine Schindler Group (‘JSG’), a joint venture with the Schindler Group of Switzerland, designs, engineers, installs, maintains and modernises elevators, escalators and moving walkways. Greatview Aseptic Packaging is a Hong Kong-listed company supplying goods and services to the aseptic liquid food industry with cost-effective carton packaging materials, filling machines and spare parts. It operates in multiple locations across Asia, Europe, the Americas, Africa, Middle East and Oceania. Jardine Pacific manages the Group's 28% interest in Greatview.
